Black Rosy-Finch

We watched a few Black Rosy-Finches eating thistle seeds.

Suddenly, a flock of Black Rosy-Finches flew out from the rock cavities, and I could count 60 in this photo. They had been completely quiet until they flew.

We spent time looking for hummingbirds, and saw 2 Rufous Hummingbirds feeding at the thistle flowers. Alan is pointing out the 2 hummingbirds in flight.
